DE – Im Rahmen meiner Abschlussarbeit, durfte ich das Konzept und die Gestaltung für eine Kochbuchreihe entwerfen. Die Aufgabenstellung lautete: Editorial Design für eine produktorientierte Kochbuchreihe.
Die Reihe soll sich an die Generation Z richten und durch eine Erscheinung im Trend «Less is More» überzeugen.
Die Kochbuchreihe ist in zwei Teile aufgeteilt, zum einen findet man «schnelle und leckere Rezepte», zum anderen bieten die Bücher «opulente und genussvolle Rezepte». So lässt sich in jeder Situation das perfekte Gericht finden. Nebst dem Inhalt nimmt auch die Gestaltung die beiden Teile auf. Findet man im ersten Teil simple und gut verständliche Illustrationen die einem die Zutaten auf einen Blick darstellen, enthält der zweite Teil aufwändige Studiofotografien mit farbigen und fantasievollen Kompositionen.

EN – As part of my final thesis, I was allowed to create the concept and design for a cookery book series. The task was to create an editorial design for a product-orientated cookbook series.
The series is aimed at Generation Z and is designed to appeal to the ‘less is more’ trend.
The cookery book series is divided into two parts: on the one hand there are ‘quick and tasty recipes’, on the other hand the books offer ‘opulent and indulgent recipes’. So you can find the perfect dish for every situation. In addition to the content, the design also reflects the two parts. While the first part contains simple and easy-to-understand illustrations that show you the ingredients at a glance, the second part contains elaborate studio photographs with colourful and imaginative compositions.
